We explained earlier how to leave a group chat message via iOS on iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro. What about adding a person in group iMessage to an iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro already? The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro have the advantage of allowing users to add a person into a group iMessage after it has started. Users don’t need to start a new thread. This works only in group chat threads and is not applicable if there are more than two people involved.
This will show you how to add a person into a group iMessage. The following procedure only works if all members of the group iMessage are on iMessage. It is not possible to add anyone from an Android device to the group chat. A person can only view messages from the point where they are added to the group message. They can’t see anything shared before joining the group.
Add a person or person to group messaging on iPhone 13 and iPhone 13Pro:
Turn your iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro.
Open the Messages App.
Select the group message you wish the person to be added.
Click on the “Details” button at the top of your screen.
Then click on “Add Contact”.
Select the person(s) you wish to add to the group message and click “Done”.
